A Chelsea resident for the past 12 years, she passed away in her home on Tuesday, June 26th. She was 66 years of age. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, she was the daughter of Rosalio and Victoria (Ovalle) Esturban. She was rasied in Guatemala and attended schools there. A longtime resident of Guatemala, she had been residing in Chelsea for the past 12 years. Catalina was devoted to her home and family and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She was a member of the Ministerios Betel in Revere.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Frank A. Welsh & Sons Funeral Home 718 Broadway CHELSEA on Monday, July 2nd at 11:00 A.M. Services will conclude with Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
She is the Beloved wife of Franciso Ramirez of Chelsea with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Victoria Ramirez of Chelsea, Jorge Ramirez and his wife Jacqueline of Weymouth, Maribel Ramirez of Guatemala, Nora Ramirez of Chelsea, David Ramirez of Chelsea and Dora Ramirez of Guatemala. Dear sister of Elcira, Esther, Sara, Josue and Hageo Esturban. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and the late Cesar Ramirez.
